The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the SIMAD Institute for Global Health (SIGHt) and key partners, officially launched Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Day 2023. Held from December 10th to 12th, the event brought together health professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss strategies for achieving equitable and accessible healthcare for all Somalis. UHC Day 2023 highlighted the collective efforts required to strengthen Somalia’s healthcare system and ensure health as a right for every citizen.
